Who Comes to Our Retreats?


Our program is designed to facilitate healing for individuals who seek support for a variety of issues. We specialize in retreats for those in 12 Step Recovery from addictions as well as therapy retreats for related issues.  

Our common issues include difficulty tolerating or expressing feelings, numbing, over-stimulation, compulsive behavior, boundary issues, wounds, loneliness and a search of meaning.  These issues manifest in each of us in unique ways.

Individual Healing Services 

Healing therapies and individualized recovery services are available to meet your personal healing and renewal needs.  When you travel to Playa del Carmen or anywhere nearby in the Riveria Maya and we will be available to assist you.  Ocean Therapy, individual or couples therapy, massage, yoga, excursions to local attractions, transportation, referral to local 12 Step groups and other services are available according to your personal needs. Why Come to Our Retreats?


Traditional therapy and 12 Step Recovery groups are very important in the growth and wellness of many of us.  Still, sometimes we need to take a step back.  Maybe you need time away to look at yourself or to make significant changes in your life.  Retreats are highly effective and complement other therapies, 12 Step Recovery programs and spiritual practices.  Our retreats will help you in unique ways because of our experiential approach and combination of traditional therapy along with Ocean Therapy.

Don’t allow the distractions of everyday life or anything else prevent you from truly caring for yourself and feeling good about your life.  You can begin or enhance your progress by taking this week to focus on you.   

At Ocean Breeze Retreats you will be safe with experienced professionals and your private group. You do not have to feel alone. You will connect with others with an intimacy that rarely occurs in everyday life.  You don’t have to travel with someone else or worry about their wants and feelings during this time.  We utilize the healing power of our natural surroundings as a vital part of the experience.  Ocean Breeze Retreats are for individuals seeking personal and spiritual growth.

  • We provide individualized, non-judgmental, supportive care.
  • We insist on mutual respect for feelings, beliefs, values and lifestyles.  We will maintain a safe space for healing and expression.
  • You may share as much or as little as you wish.  We hope that you will be an active participant in order to gain full benefit of the program.
  • Confidentiality of your identity, participation and issues are vital. Participants will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement in order to protect the anonymity of other participants. 
  • Take refuge from your everyday life.  Leave behind or minimize any work, use of laptops and cell phones.  Avoid outside distractions and stressors.
  • We ask participants to practice honesty, open-mindedness and willingness.
